Springfield Twp., PA (WBNG Binghamton) Two people are jailed in Bradford County after they not only allegedly stole a car, but used a salvage company to help do it.

Pennsylvania State Police said Teresa Gail Hiller, 31, of Gillett, and Darrell Lee Struble, 31, of Granville Summitt, told the company they owned the vehicle they were allegedly looking to steal.

That vehicle, a 1995 Subaru Legacy, was actually owned by a 63-year-old woman from Columbia Crossroads, according to police. The vehicle was towed away back in July while parked along state Route 40-14 and crushed.

Police said Hiller and Struble were paid $200 for the vehicle.

They were both taken into custody on Sunday.

Hiller and Struble both face multiple charges related to the incident.

Struble was also wanted by Pennsylvania State Police for a parole violation.

Hiller is jailed on $10,000 bail while Struble was jailed on $55,000 bail.
