Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Some say that when you are young, that is when learning is the most fun. That certainly rang true at Glenwood Elementary School Wednesday morning.

Students spent the day going around three science stations. There was robotics, a hands on chemistry demonstration and students got too meet a kangaroo from animal adventures.

"If you look around today, they are having fun, everyone is having fun. The robots are fun, the animals in the library are fun and the chemistry experiments are fun. And that is what we want to do, excite them and make it fun," said Doreen McSain, Principal of Glenwood Elementary.

The science stations were in preparation for a school science fair at the end of February.

The school says past events like Wednesday have sparked the imaginations of students and helped them come up with creative and interactive science fair projects.
