Search Warrants Lead to Arrests, Drugs and Money

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Investigators arrest four people after they find drugs and thousands of dollars in a Binghamton apartment.

Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force issued a warrant at an apartment on Tompkins Street in the city.

When they arrived, two men jumped out of a second story window.

Michael Lewis, 27, of Brooklyn was arrested after jumping out of the window, but Jeffrey Madison, 33, from Binghamton, ran from the scene and broke into a nearby house trying to hide.

Back in the apartment, Jackie Pizzuti, 31, of Binghamton was arrested for the drugs.

Alexis Wagner, 24, was arrested on an active warrant.

Authorities then searched a Town of Dickinson hotel room on another warrant.

Including the apartment and that hotel room, in total, police found 76 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 160 envelopes of heroin, oxycodone pills, marijuana and more than $4,000.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force are members of the Broome County Sheriff's Office, the City of Binghamton Police Department and the Village of Johnson City Police Department.
