Search for Johnson City Murder Suspect Continues

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The search continues for anyone who could have shot and killed a man in Johnson City Sunday night.

The search continues for anyone who could have shot and killed a man in Johnson City Sunday night.

Police responded here to the corner of Faatz Alley and Arch Street.

They found 21 year-old Eric Dantzler with gunshot wounds.

A passenger drove Dantzler's car to the intersection after Dantzler was shot on nearby Corliss Avenue.

The passenger was not hurt, but Dantzler later died of his injuries at Wilson Hospital, just a block from the scene.

Police still have not ruled out robbery as a possible motive for the shooting.

Fifteen investigators from the Johnson City Police Department continue to question witnesses and follow up on potential leads.
