Search warrant leads to cocaine arrests

Town of New Berlin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Three people were arrested for drug-related offenses after authorities executed a surprise search warrant.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, along with the Sheriff's Office Entry Team, executed a no-knock warrant at 118 Meadow Lane in New Berlin.

The sheriff's office said they found in the home a large quantity of crack cocaine, packaging material, cash and other paraphernalia. They did not provide further details about how much crack cocaine and money was recovered.

The residents of the home, Jessica and Alan Crisell were arrested, along with Dequay Shoulders, of Syracuse.

Shoulders was arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court and remanded to the Chenango County Jail on $15,000 cash bail. He is set to appear in court at a later date.

Alan Crisell's charges:
- Criminal nuisance in the first degree, a class E felony

Jessica Crisell's charges:
- Criminal nuisance in the first degree, a class E felony
- Criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument

Dequay Shoulders' charges:
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a class B felony in the third degree
- Criminal possession of a drug paraphernalia in the second degree
