Johnson City, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) The search was on at Raymour & Flanigan Saturday afternoon, but not for the furniture that it's known for, but for hundreds of plastic eggs.

The furniture store held its first Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.

More than 650 colored Easter eggs were hidden under pillows, tables, and even in vases.

Kids had to find six eggs on two of the floors; boys and girls had separate colors to look for with different prizes and candy in each egg.

This event was to help the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome's summer programs.

"The boys and girls club is a great organization, they do a lot for our community and we just felt that it was a good group to help," said Visual Merchandiser for Raymour & Flanigan Stephanie Rice.

There was also face painting available and the Easter bunny, plus three eggs hidden for adults filled with gift certificates to the store.

Rice said she hopes to make this an annual event.

The event was free, but accepted donations for the club.
