Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A jury convicts a Binghamton man who tried to kill a bouncer at a local nightclub one year ago.
Joshua Vaughn, 21, was trying to force his way into the Voodoo Lounge on Charlotte Street last January.
When he was denied because of a cover charge, Vaughn stabbed the bouncer in the stomach with a four-inch knife.
He was charged with attempted murder and assault.
The jury returned the verdict following two days of deliberation.
He is scheduled to be sentenced April 30.
