Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Scarves were wrapped, mittens were strapped and jackets were snapped on top of the hill on Farm To Market Road next to Maine Endwell High School.

Dozens of people headed out in the cold for one reason, sledding. "Sledding, the most fun of all winter sports," said Atlanta, Georgia resident, Don Zuhlke who was in Endwell to visit with his family for the holidays.

The hill was packed with people, and like Zuhlke, some were there from all over the country.

Endwell resident, Lauri Diamantakos said, "We have family here from California and North Carolina, so we had to bring them here to show them the snow and how fun it can be to live in a place where it snows!"

Zuhlke agrees and said, "We have grandparents here, so I have to get my southern kids up here to the north so we can enjoy the snow!"

These out of towners got to enjoy a big snow storm and a tradition for many around the area.

Endicott resident, Laural Oltmer said, "We've lived here for 15 years, so every year we come here when it's this good. And this is our first good snow."

Young kids and school kids were able to have fun while they were out of school on winter break.
