Johnson City, NY (WBNG, Binghamton) Social networking sites are not just for connecting with friends anymore.
"Managing your business' social media reputation" was the topic at the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce Thursday morning.
The session was part of a quarterly seminar that digs deeper into building a better business reputation online.
Local public relations and marketing professionals focused on how to deal with negative feedback online and how to keep a positive reputation.
"It's really important for local businesses to know how to respond because you want to make sure your maintaining a positive presence on social media," said Ciara Cabel, web and graphic design at SUNY Broome.
This was the third of four meetings for the social media series. The last seminar is on October 30 at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage in Johnson City.
