Son indicted for murder of father

Town of Middlefield, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A grand jury handed up an indictment against a son accused of murder in the shooting death of his father.

Michael Buck, 33, faces five charges, including second degree murder, assault and criminal use of a firearm.

Deputies said it was a domestic dispute that resulted in the death of Joseph Buck, 63, in September in the Town of Middlefield.

The Otsego County Sheriff's Office responded to the home on Indian Run Road where Michael Buck was temporarily living with his parents.

Deputies found Joseph Buck dead from gunshot wounds.

The Sheriff's Office said he was shot multiple times.

He is being held in the Otsego County jail, scheduled to be back in court on Dec. 9.
