Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Music filled the auditorium of the Vestal Middle School Thursday afternoon.

Today, students put on a free holiday concert for senior citizens in the community.

This is the first concert of its kind at the school.

"The kids are thrilled, any chance they get to preform, they are excited to do it" said band director at Vestal Middle School, Denise Lacey-Corcoran,.

"We decided to do a community outreach to welcome senior citizens, and to hopefully hear some holiday music and put them in the holiday spirit," said Lacey-Corcoran.

All the musical groups in the middle school, as well as the 4th and 5th grade chorus performed at the concert. They played selections from their holiday concert that was earlier this month.
