(WBNG Binghamton) One of the area's biggest manufacturers is getting some help from New York state for it's move from Vestal to West Endicott.

The Empire State Development Board approved a round of funding for projects members say will create and retain more than 1,100 jobs across the state.

Among those awards is $400,000 for National Pipe and Plastics.

The company is one of the largest PVC pipe producers in the country and is looking to expand operations with it's move to a larger facility in the town of Union.

The money will be used to help purchase and install new machinery.
