Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Giants might not be in the big game, but TV sales still spiked at Olum's in Johnson City.

"It's always crazy with TV sales," said Eric Slocum, a store employee. "Especially right now. Not as big as when New York's in it, but you can't always win."

Football fans swarmed the furniture and appliance store all week, and most were buying big TVs. Today, a few last-minute shoppers stopped in to snag some smaller models, Slocum said.

Even without the Super Bowl, TVs are always a popular sell.

"TVs are always a big product," Slocum said. "The Super Bowl helps, but they're good no matter what."

The Olum's in Vestal had special Super Bowl sales on TVs this past week, which they have every year.
