Taxi Driver Robbed at Gunpoint

Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Tompkins County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a taxi driver is robbed at gunpoint.

On Saturday, January 26, around 11:30 p.m., deputies responded to 100 Graham Road for a reported robbery.

A taxi driver for Cayuga Taxi reported that he was there to pick up a taxi fare. A man got into the cab, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as being white, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 lbs. He was wearing a black colored hooded jacket and black or blue colored jeans.
