Teen arrested for bomb threat at the Sherburne-Earlville School

Sherburne, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A 13-year-old boy was arrested after allegedly making a bomb threat at the Sherburne-Earlville Middle School.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office arrested the town of Lebanon teen last Thursday.

The teen is accused of threatening to blow up the school in a note left on a bathroom wall on Sept. 24.

He is charged with falsely reporting an incident in the second degree, a class E felony. The 13-year-old was issued a juvenile appearance ticket for the Chenango County Family Court at a later date.
