Teen breaks into home, assaults resident

Town of Union, NY (WBNG Bingamton) An Endicott teenager was sent to jail after deputies said he broke into a home and assaulted a person living there.

Police identified him as Patrick Olson, 19, of Endicott.

Deputies said on Saturday night, Olson went into a home on West Wendell Avenue in the town of Union through the back door. Once he got in, he assaulted one of the people living there.

Before deputies arrived, Olson ran away. He was found at a park on Sunday.

Olson was arraigned in the Town of Union Court and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

He is charged with a felony count of burglary.
