Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Three former employees of the local center for the developmentally disabled are free after being charged with filming an episode of sexual abuse of a resident in their care.

New York State Police arrested three Binghamton residents. Each of them is charged with unlawful surveillance, which is a felony.

State police say a month-long investigation revealed that a resident of the Broome Developmental Center on Glenwood Road was touched in a sexual manner and the incident was filmed.

State police did not say when the incident happened.

All three are set to appear July 10 in the Town of Dickinson Court.
