(WBNG Binghamton) Three New York State Troopers are suspended without pay, after an internal investigation reveals an 18-year-veteran may have organized parties that offered and promoted prostitution.

Trooper Titus Taggart, 41, was suspended Thursday.

An investigation conducted in December revealed he may have organized parties that involved promoting prostitution, while off-duty.

Later Thursday, two other officers -- Trooper Jeremy Smith, 34, and Trooper Michael Petritz, 33, were also suspended.

Investigators allege the duo engaged in misconduct, but they do not believe they were involved in organizing the parties.

Trooper Smith has been with the force for ten years, while Petritz has been with State Police for eight years.

They are assigned to Troop T, along the Thruway, in Henrietta.

Trooper Taggart, meanwhile, is stationed at Troop T Buffalo.

He is an 18-year-veteran of the force.

No arrests have been made at this time.
