Towanda man convicted of DUI at jury trial

(WBNG Binghamton) According to a news release issued Friday by the Bradford County (Pa.) District Attorney's Office, a 51-year-old Towanda, Pa., man was convicted of DUI at a jury trial on Thursday.

According to the news release:

Senior Judge Kenneth Brown, who presided at the trial, also found Todd A. Parsons guilty of the summary offense of driving while his license was suspended.

After the verdict was reached, Judge Brown told the jury that the court will be required to sentence Parsons to of at least one year in prison, because conviction was the third in ten years.

The court will also be required to sentence Parsons to at least sixty days in prison for the conviction of driving while under DUI suspension.

Parsons will be sentenced at a later date.  He remains in the Bradford County Correctional Facility.
