Town of Bath, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A tractor trailer rollover closes a road for about four hours, spilling liquid manure and diesel fuel.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, Robert Taylor, 29, was driving a tractor trailer owned by Wilkins Dairy Farm on Shattuck Road when the tractor trailer rolled onto its side Saturday afternoon.

Deputies say Taylor was turning a corner near Emerson Road when the accident happened.

The tractor trailer was carrying about 6,000 gallons of liquid manure.

The liquid manure, along with 30 to 40 gallons of diesel fuel, spilled onto the roadway.

Both the liquid manure and diesel drained into a nearby creek.

Shattuck Road was closed for about four hours while the road was cleaned.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
