Town of Binghamton Assault

Town of Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) During an argument, Richard Hadley Jr., 41, of Town of Binghamton displayed a knife in a threatening way towards a 19-year-old male.

Hadley then allegedly slashed the 19-year-old male in the right shoulder area.

Broome County Sheriff's later found Hadley at his residence on Park Avenue.

He was arrested and arraigned in the Town of Binghamton Court and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

Hadley has been charged with Assault in the 2nd degree, a Class A Felony, and Menacing in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

According the Sheriff David Harder, Hadley was arrested back in July of 2012 and charged with Attempted Arson after pouring gasoline in the basement and first floor of the home with family members inside after a domestic dispute.

Deputies were able to stop Hadley.
