Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Town of Dickinson Supervisor Michael Marinaccio has announced he will be running for town supervisor again after decades of service.

Marinaccio has held the supervisor seat for 18 years. He says despite that length of time, he doesn't feel his time is up just yet.

Marinaccio says he's worked to build the town's tax base and improved its infrastructure.

After nearly two decades, Marinaccio also says the job is what you make it.

"For myself it's a full-time job. I'm here just about every day. Seven days a week or on the phone. I'm busy doing things related to town operations whether it's local, state, or federal. It's a full time job for me," Marinaccio-R. said.

Before his 18 years as supervisor, he spent four years as a member of the town's council.

The election for Town Supervisor will take place on November 4.
