One charged in death of Montrose man

Jessup Twp., Pa. (WBNG Binghamton) One man has been arrested in connection to a homicide that occurred in Susquehanna County.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested 22-year-old Paul Paci Jr. of Dallas, Pa. He is charged with an open count of homicide.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Russell Fauver, of Montrose, Pa.

According to state police, Fauver was found along Township Route 510, Blaisure Road, in Jessup Township at approximately 3:20 a.m. Wednesday.

State Police said Fauver and Paci had a confrontation earlier Tuesday night.

After the confrontation, Paci followed Fauver in his car until they reached the Blaisure Road area, according to state police.

State Police said Paci assaulted Fauver, then fled the scene.

Fauver was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead from his injuries, according state police.

Paci was found in Luzerne County and taken into custody Wednesday morning.
