Two arrested for crack cocaine investigation

Town of Chenango, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Two people were arrested during a search warrant conducted after a narcotics investigation.

The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) and the Vestal Police Department arrested Tiawanna Willard, 34, and Devon Johnson, 35, both of the Town of Chenango.

Troopers and Vestal Police found crack cocaine, MDMA (Ecstasy), and $9,200 in the apartment.

Both were arraigned in the Town of Chenango Court and are being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.

Willard Charges:
-Possession of a controlled substance
-Criminal Sale of a controlled substance
-Endangering the welfare of a child; due to sales of narcotics occurring with children present in the residence

Johnson Charges:
-Criminal possession of a forged document
-Criminal possession of a controlled substance
-False impersonation

In addition to the charges, Johnson was turned over to New York State Parole Officers on an active Parole Warrant as a parole absconder.
