Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Deputies arrested two people after finding drugs and paraphernalia inside their car.

Misty Lawton, 37, of Mecklenburg and Michael Marshall, 26, of Berkshire were parked in Evergreen Cemetery off East Avenue when a deputy approached the car for being suspicious, according to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office.

As the deputy approached, he could see Lawton and Marshall inside the car with visible drug paraphernalia.

Several hypodermic needles, marijuana pipes and a clear plastic bag containing methamphetamine were found, deputies said.

It was also discovered that Marshall's driver's license was suspended for failure to pay a fine and Lawton had an active warrant for failure to appear in court.

Both were taken to the Tioga County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
