According to task force members, the investigation comes after a string of burglaries and larcenies in the city of Binghamton, along with an upswing in heroin possession arrests and overdoses throughout Broome County.

With the arrests, 35 charges were filed, including 18 felonies. Nearly 100 wax envelope folds of heroin were seized along with $11,272.
