Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Endicott Police arrested a Union-Endicott student accused of breaking a window at the high school.

Students were placed on lockdown Wednesday afternoon, after, according to police, a 16-year-old student used some type of projectile to throw marble-like objects through an interior stairwell window.

Police said other students saw it happen just before 1 p.m.

School officials said shelter-in-place procedures were initiated as a precaution.

The name of the 16-year-old student will not be released due to his age. He is charged with criminal mischief.
