Police identify human remains found in January

Burlington Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) The remains of a person found in Bradford County back in January have been identified.

The Bradford County Coroner's Office has identified the skeletal remains as Duane Scott Jr., 51, of Towanda, PA.

Bradford County Coroner, Thomas M. Carman, stated that although the cause of death is unknown, they were still able to determine that there is no evidence of foul play.

On Jan 11., the remains of an unidentified person were found in a wooded area on Bennett Road in Burlington Township, PA. The coroner's office and a forensic team assisted Pennsylvania State Police at the scene.

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda received a missing persons report for Duane Scott Jr. on November 25, 2012.
