Vehicle Collides With Ambulance

Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Usually an ambulance responds to a crash, but Friday morning, crews were already at the scene.

A vehicle collides head on with a Town of Union Ambulance.

It happened around 9 a.m. Friday on Hooper Road in Endwell.

An elderly driver lost consciousness while driving, striking the ambulance head on. The Union ambulance crew immediately got out to help the driver.

The driver regained consciousness a little while later, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

There were no injuries because of the accident.

The Endwell Fire Department also responded to the scene.
