Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - Preparations began Friday for the Southern Tier Home Builders and Remodelers Annual Home and Garden Show.

More than 130 vendors arrived at the Broome County Veteran's Memorial Arena Friday morning.

Setup for the Home and Garden Show this weekend began at 6 a.m. and continued through 8 p.m. Friday evening.

Some vendors include painters, plumbers, remodelers, landscapers, and real estate businesses.

"There's a lot of experts in their field here a lot of people that know their business and we can certainly give them an idea of any pending remodeling projects they might have, if they're thinking about building a new home," says Vice President of the Southern Tier Home Builders and Remodelers Association, Marc Mazzei.

This is the only fundraiser for the Southern Tier Home Builders and Remodelers Association.

Doors will open Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.. Tickets are $6 for adults and free for children.

You can get a dollar off your ticket by donating a non-perishable item to CHOW.
