Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Over a dozens teams took part in the volleyball tournament Sunday morning at the Spiedie Fest.

Teams were from all over the Southern Tier, and some even traveled from out of state.

This has been a tradition for the festival since the beginning. Players said this an event that keeps them coming back year after year.

"I think it is really good because first of all, it's an athletic event and to a lot of people it's a community event and it keeps a lot of people close together," said Patrick O'Neil, of Binghamton.

The tournament has been held for the past 28 years at Otsiningo Park. Tournament organizers said they want to try to get more teams involved next year.
