Walton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police say they have the person responsible for a series of posts on Facebook that threatened children and their families and depicted acts of pornography and death.

Walton Police Monday evening arrested Jennifer Morris, 27, of Griswold Street in Walton.

Police say Morris hacked into several local residents' Facebook pages and sent out threats and disturbing images to other residents and children.

The threats against children were credible enough for Walton schools to take action.

On Monday, all scheduled outside activities, like recess, were canceled, all teachers were made aware of the threats and administrators made sure school doors were locked during the day.

Parents say more than a dozens children were targeted with illicit and gory photos.

Morris was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, arraigned Monday night in village court and taken to the Delaware County Jail on $10,000 bail, according to a press release from the Walton Police Department.

Additional charges are pending, according to the release.
