Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Atwater's team, the Buffalo Bills, wasn't invited to the biggest show in football; not by a Hail Mary.

But they showed up Sunday, gathered around the television, wings in hand, just the same.

With pizza, chili, and tons of snacks, the Atwater's party had all the makings of a fantastic Super Bowl gathering ... with the exception the Blue and Red were spectators just like they were.

Nicole Atwater said the secret to a good party -- at least in her family -- is her fantastic chili. Turns out it wasn't that complicated.

"Well I just used ground beef and tomatoes and I don't know, beans," Atwater said, laughing.

But more important than football and food, the Super Bowl brings people together.

"We're just here having a good time, with all my friends and family," James Atwater said.

For Bills fans, Super Bowls in the most modern of eras are served with a side of shoulder chips.

"Well, our team's never in the Super Bowl because we're Bills fans, but we like to watch the Super Bowl because we like football," Nicole Atwater said, still laughing.

The Atwaters jokingly predict the Bills will make it to the 53rd Super Bowl. Whether Buffalo Nation is aware is anyone's guess.
