Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton Detectives are asking for your help as they investigate 3 robberies at two area gas station convenience stores in the last week. They say they're connected -- and believe the the same man is behind all three.

Most recently, Detectives say just after 2 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Hess Station on Vestal Avenue was robbed.

They say a black male, around 6 feet tall and of a thin build, entered the south side convenience store and forcibly stole cash from the register, as well as cigarettes.

Detectives do not know whether he displayed or threatened to show a weapon.

This man left, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, and a mask. He also had a purple checkered backpack, and white sneakers.

This is the second time in a week that this particular Hess was robbed. Detectives say last Thursday, July 28, someone matching this description, wearing similar clothing, also took cash and cigarettes.

Detectives also think this man is behind a robbery at the Manley's Might Mart on the city's east side.

They believe he entered the Broad Avenue store on Sunday evening around 11.

Here, he took an unknown amount of money from the register and cigarettes.

He did not display a weapon, and left on foot.

He was last seen heading in the direction of Grant Street -- this time wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with an unknown design, and grey sweatpants.

The picture above reflects this description.
