(WBNG Binghamton) People have been hitting the polls all day making their choices in federal, state and local races.

Action News visited polling places in Conklin, the City of Binghamton and the Town of Binghamton to talk to voters.

"I think we have to get everyone to participate to have a voice and to be heard," said Nita Baldwin, Binghamton.

"I just want to rock my vote and hopefully get the person that I think is going to run the country the right way in," said Michael Dipaolo, Binghamton.

"I've always voted. My parents had always told me to and maybe that's where I got it from," said Doreen Washburn, Conklin, "You know what they say, if you don't vote, you can't complain."

"It's important to me that the right man gets the job and my vote my may make the difference," said Thomas Stevens, Binghamton.
