Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It was the 23rd annual Feast with the Beasts at the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park Wednesday night.

This year's event was the biggest one yet, with more than 25 local restaurants, wineries and businesses.

The rain did not damper the evening, however, as hundreds of visitors came out to wine and dine with the animals.

"We really enjoy coming to Feast with the Beast because the animals are so active in the evenings," said Corrine O'Leary. "It's so fun to be able to try so many different cuisines and wines and beers from different restaurants and wineries in the area."

In addition to the food and drink samplings, there was live music, a special penguin demonstration, animal spotlights and an annual silent auction and basket raffle.

All proceeds from Feast with the Beasts go directly to supporting the Binghamton Zoo.
