(WBNG Binghamton) The Southern Tier woke up to its second big snowfall in just one week.

Road conditions were bad throughout the day on Saturday.

Some cars were struggling to make turns into the Oakdale Mall.

Action News saw a number of plows clearing parking lots and other properties, but not a lot of people out shoveling.

They could have been taking advantage of the Saturday morning.

Most people we spoke to weren't thrilled to see the fluffy white stuff outside, but some did welcome it.

"Definitely a winter fan, otherwise I'd be living south," said Nick Dodge of Endwell.

"I'd say stay home... After driving here the roads are pretty treacherous , so we're going to get what we need and head home," said Bill Didas of Endwell.

"I've got holiday plans with my girlfriends family and I might be a little late, maybe they'll understand," said Damian McKenzie of Endicott.

"It's the white snow, and just sitting, watching it fall. It's great," said Dodge.

Cars were being extra careful out on the roads, but there were still some reports of minor accidents due to the weather.
