Woman Arrested for Drunk Driving Crash

Town of Fenton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A woman was arrested for drunk driving after deputies say she crashed her car and left the scene.

Broome County Sheriff's deputies responded early Monday morning to a crash at the intersection of Route 369 and Ganoungtown Road.

Deputies arrested Crystal Ellett, 24, for driving while intoxicated.

While investigating the crash, two deputies found Ellett, at a residence on Ganoungtown Road.

A passenger in the car was taken to Wilson Hospital for injuries.

Ellett was released and is scheduled to appear in Town of Fenton Court at a later date.

Deputies charged Ellett with driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher, leaving the scene of a personal injury motor vehicle accident, speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from lane unsafely and operating a motor vehicle without proof of insurance.
