Woman arrested for prostitution, found with drugs

(WBNG Binghamton) A woman is arrested following a prostitution sting in the Town of Union.

On Friday, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrested Heather L. Brower, 26, Bainbridge, after Brower agreed to have sex with two undercover detectives in exchange for money.

After her arrest, Brower was found to to have multiple hypodermic needles on her, along with a small amount of heroin.

She was also wanted on active arrest warrants in the Village of Johnson City Court and the Town of Dickinson Court.

Brower was arrested and arraigned at the Town of Union Court.

She is being charged with two counts of prostitution, class B misdemeanors, one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, and one count of criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, a class A misdemeanor.

She has been remanded to the Broome County Sheriff's Correctional Facility.
