(WBNG Binghamton) A Norwich woman was arrested by New York State Police for dozens of felony charges.
Donna M. Huzinec, 53, was arrested Saturday, according to state police.
She was charged with 41 total felony charges, including one count of second-degree grand larceny, 20 counts of forgery in the second degree, and 20 counts of first-degree falsifying business records.
State police said Huzinec received payments totaling $104,390 for services she did not provide while working at Springbrook Residential Services.
Huzinec provided respite services to give at-home caregivers short-term breaks.
According to state police, she submitted hundreds of fraudulent requests for payment and forged hundreds of signatures, possibly dating as far back as 2009.
Huzinec is no longer employed by Springbrook.
She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Pharsalia Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
