The incident is being investigated as a suicide.

Firefighters responded to a 911 call just before 2 p.m. Tuesday about a woman on the ice in the area of the Route 201 bridge.

Johnson City Fire Marshal Paul Hlebica could not say if the woman fell or if she jumped from the bridge as emergency dispatch radio reported out.
