(WBNG Binghamton) The woman who stole nearly $30,000 from a local fire station pleaded guilty in Broome County Court today.

Terry Gow, 58, of Whitney Point pleaded guilty Thursday for a charge of grand larceny in the third degree.

Gow was the former treasurer of the Glen Aubrey Fire Company and embezzled roughly $30,000, which she used for personal expenses.

She will be back in court in September for sentencing. There is no agreed upon sentence, that will be left to the discretion of the court.

The prosecution is seeking restitution of $58,305 to the Glen Aubrey Fire Department.

ADA Sandra Cardone is prosecuting the case, which was investigated by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
