Woman thrown from vehicle, dead at scene

Richmond Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A woman was killed in a car crash late Sunday night in Tioga County, Pa.

It happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. Sunday in Richmond Township on Brooklyn Road about a a half mile north of Spencer Road.

Natasha Nicole Stanfield, 27, of Mansfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pennsylvania State Police say she was driving a 2002 PT Cruiser when she missed a left curve, went off the roadway and hit a fence with the passenger-front side of her car.

The front of her car then hit an embankment, causing the car to roll over.

Stanfield was not wearing a seatbelt and thrown from the vehicle.

Mansfield Fire and Ambulance assisted this accident.
