Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Models worked the runaway at the Holiday Inn for a first-ever fashion show of its kind.

The event, held at the Holiday Inn, raised money for the Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network, which supports moms and families regardless of economic status.

More than 24 local businesses came together for the reception, showing off a wide range of local products.

People packed the Holiday Inn reception room where a long runway was the center of attention.

"We had a total of 18 adult models and 7 children here, they were all adorable," Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network Executive Director Sharon Chesna said. "And it was just fabulous. They all did a great job, the clothes were beautiful. The event was spectacular."

Angel's Closet, Boscov's, Coldwater Creek, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sall Sterns and Tom's Coffee, Cards and Gifts provided clothes for the models.

Action News' weekend anchor Erika Mahoney modeled clothes from Tom's Coffee, Cards and Gifts.

Chesna believes the event raised about $14,000 and said it will make a huge difference to the organization.
