Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)  The countdown is on to head to the polls. With recent redistricting throughout the state, finding candidates in your area could be a challenge.

Vote411.org was started in 2006 on a National level through the League of Women Voters.

The local chapter of the League of Women Voters used the website as a trial run last year, putting it into strong action this year with a high profile election season.

For national elections, both Presidential and Congressional candidates are on the site.

Locally, state legislature, Broome County Executive, Broome County Legislature, Town Supervisor, and Judge candidates are also available.

The website clarifies districts that have been changed, showing a map outlining the new adjustments.

"You can put in your address and your zip code and it will pull up all the information that you need about races in your area," said Margaret Goodfellow with the League of Women Voters.

"It's a good thing because this years election is so huge and so very important. Of course our main message is vote, it counts," said Jane Park, President of the League of Women Voters.

There is also an available print out on the website with candidate and voter information.
