    (WBNG Binghamton) An audit issued by the state comptroller this past spring shows the Broome County Sheriff's Office failed to follow specific rules regarding the state's sex offender law. There are more than 330 registered sex offenders in Broome County and some of their information may not have been fully up to date as a result.
