Rudolph A. Testani, 88, Johnson City NY

Rudolph A. Testani, age 88, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2009 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He is predeceased by his parents Mary and Angelo Testani; brothers William, Larry, and Arthur Testani; stepchildren Robert VanNorton, Melody Schade and Lori Strauch. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary; stepchildren Valerie (Dave) Allen and Ken VanNorton, all of Johnson City; brothers Ed (Sylvia) Testani, and Robert (Catherine) Testani, sister Emma Testani and sister-in-law Loretta Testani, all of Endicott; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a wonderful person and we will miss him dearly. Rudy was a WWII Navy veteran, he owned and operated Rudy's Barbershop on North Street in Endicott for many years and retired from IBM. He enjoyed helping his son-in-law with endless building projects, Tuesday night card games and his daily trips to the mall.

At Rudy's request, there will not be any calling hours or services. Those wishing may consider a donation to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by the Barber Memorial Home, Inc in Johnson City.
