Patrick J. Sollis, 82 of Johnson City passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents Ernie and Alice and Johanna, his sister Pearl Wilkins and brother-in-law Bill Garner. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary, residing at the Bridgewater Nursing Home; his children JoAnn and Jim Silvanic, Jaime and Mary Lou Sollis, Jeff and Christine Sollis; granddaughters Nicki, Shannan and Lindsay who brought him so much joy; nephews Bob Wilkins and Matt Garner; nieces Michele, Gretchen, and Alison and their families. He enjoyed Saturday morning coffee sessions with his friends Harry, Lee and Bob. He retired from GAF with 35 years of service. Pat could fix anything and was often called upon to do so.


A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery Homer NY. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Central NY Chapter, 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760. Arrangements are by the Barber Memorial Home Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City.
