Zilpha Gillette, 98, of Johnson City died on April 9, 2009 at the Absolut of Endicott Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Gillette. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Georgianna Gillett of Johnson City; granddaughter Jeanne Gillette of Binghamton; sister-in-law Arlene Huyck. She was a member of Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Absolut Nursing for their loving care of Zilpha.

A private service will be held at the Barber Memorial Home Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sarah Jane Church, 308 Main Street, Johnson City, NY 13790.
