Cornelia R. Hopkins, 90, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Hopkins, daughter, Peggy Hopkins, sister, Hilda Hatton and brother George Hatton. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Henry R. and Sharon Hopkins., Vienna VA, sisters Eudora Courtney, Vero Beach FL, Laura McCracken, New Castle PA, brother Webster Hatton, Dublin OH, and her granddaughter Heather Hopkins, Oakton VA. She was a member of the Endwell United Methodist Church, was active in the church as well as their Women’s Organizations and was an avid hockey fan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00am at the Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Boulevard, Endwell with her pastor, Reverend Roger Richards, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Endwell United Methodist Church. Arrangements are be the Barber Memorial Home Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City.
